Introduction

Hey y'all, I'm Zach. Welcome to my blog! I figured this first post would be a good way to talk a little about myself and what I want to do with my blog. So, a little about me. My name is Zach Denny, and no, I don't own Denny's (but god I wish I did). I live in the state of Texas (I'm aware I say y'all a lot). I recently turned 20, I know, start sending the senior discounts. I recently received an Associate's degree, and now I'm on the track to complete my Bachelor's degree. I'm currently a junior in college, but often get confused for a junior in high school. I'm an English major, which I'm convinced is a dying breed, so I thought creating a blog would be a good way to exercise my writing muscles and talk about things I find interesting in the world. A few of my hobbies include, but aren't limited to: being a book nerd extraordinaire (really, my Patronus is a bookworm), watching as many movies as my schedule permits, becoming completely immersed in various television shows, and if the stars align properly I enjoy video gaming. Aside from being a dedicated student, I'm also an actor (shh, it's a secret). Acting is my primary career path, and I plan on using my degree to help that along. I also have 2 spoiled rotten dachshunds that I love more than I will ever like most people. Now, onto the reason I have summoned you all here. The namesake of my blog really doesn't need much explanation, but that won't stop me. Strange- if you've read this far into my post, I think you've figured that one out on your own. I'm a bit of an old soul, I see the world perhaps a bit differently than some other people my age. Sarcastic- sarcasm is my superpower. I long ago discovered that giving someone a verbal lashing via sarcasm can be one of the most beautiful things this world can offer. I have no specific idea for the exact direction I want to take this blog. I have several ideas swirling around in my sick brain of things I'd like to talk about. I guess the main purpose of why I'm here is to entertain. My posts will probably range from discussing something strange in my life to perhaps a review of a movie I've recently seen. Expect the unexpected. Disclaimer: As if you've haven't gathered from this point, I'm fairly blunt and sarcastic. I don't sugar coat my words, so if you're someone who can't appreciate dry humor and sarcasm, I invite you to walk away from this train wreck now. For the rest of you, welcome to the circus. I hope y'all have enjoyed my first post and will continue to keep up with my future posts. I hope to have updates fairly often, but since I'm a college student I could have a complete breakdown and never be heard from again.
